FC Bayern mourns the passing of Hans Weiner

FC Bayern is mourning the passing of Hans ‘Hanne’ Weiner, who has died at the age of 73. Weiner played for the Reds from 1979 to 1982, winning the Bundesliga twice and the DFB Cup, as well as reaching the final of the European Cup. The central defender left Munich for Chicago Sting in the USA before ending his career with Hertha Berlin in 1986. He played a total of 309 Bundesliga and 65 Bundesliga 2 matches.
