FC Porto attended World Football Summit Mexico City on three and four June, as Mexico hosted the start of the World Cup. The event gathered leading figures from the global football industry and aligned with the club's international expansion strategy.
According to O Jogo, the club were represented by Chief Strategy Officer Michele Montesi, who joined a panel on talent development, international academies and new training ecosystems.

He outlined Porto's view of how clubs can create opportunities for young athletes and build bridges between markets, cultures and communities.
Mexico is seen by Porto as a strategic market, given its passion for football, regional importance and potential links to new communities.
The visit coincided with the opening of a new Dragon Force in Mexico City.
