Fernandes Gets 8.5, Casemiro With 8 | Manchester United Players Rated In Impressive Win Vs Aston Villa

Manchester United entertained Aston Villa at Old Trafford earlier today as they looked to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a decent start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.
Casemiro scored the opening goal in the 53rd minute before Ross Barkley equalised for the visitors in the 64th minute. Matheus Cunha restored Man United’s lead just seven minutes later. Benjamin Sesko ended up putting the match to bed in the 81st minute as Michael Carrick’s men earned an impressive 3-1 win at the Theatre of Dreams.
Let’s take a look at how each Manchester United player performed during the clash against the Villans.
He made one good save at the back but failed to keep a clean sheet.
RB: Diogo Dalot – 7/10
Dalot performed his defensive duties well and was a threat going forward.
CB: Leny Yoro – 7/10
He gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the field.
CB: Harry Maguire – 6.5/10
He didn’t do much wrong defensively and was good on the ball.

LB: Luke Shaw – 7/10
Shaw didn’t put a foot wrong when defending inside his half.
CM: Casemiro – 8/10
He anchored the midfield well and managed to score the opening goal in the 53rd minute.
CM: Kobbie Mainoo – 7/10
Mainoo earned the ball back twice and made two promising runs with the ball.
RW: Amad Diallo – 7/10
He was a positive influence at both ends of the field.
CAM: Bruno Fernandes – 8.5/10
Fernandes caused a lot of headaches for his marker and has got a couple of assists to show for his efforts.
LW: Matheus Cunha – 7/10
He caught the eye at times on the left flank and scored his team’s second goal with a composed finish.
ST: Bryan Mbeumo – 6.5/10
Mbeumo was clever with his movements in and around the opponent’s penalty area, but there was no goal for him.
ST: Benjamin Sesko – 7/10
He did well to score in the 81st minute.
