According to FR12, Feyenoord are said to be interested in signing Nacho Ferri from Westerlo. The former Eintracht Frankfurt striker has spent the past two seasons in Belgium, firstly with Kortrijk on loan and then last season with Westerlo permanently. Feyenoord are said to be keen on the 21-year-old Spanish striker who has a contract with Westerlo until 2029. Ferri scored 11 goals in 37 games for Westerlo, an improvement on the eight in 34 he scored for Kortrijk the season before.

It is clear to see why Feyenoord are interested in signing Ferri. The young Spanish forward will bring a physical presence to the Rotterdam sides attack and has improved a fair amount in the past two seasons he has played in the Belgian Pro League. Prior to joining Kortrijk on loan, Ferri had played 13 games for Eintracht Frankfurt, scoring once.

According to the information that FR12 have, Ferri is keen to make the move from Westerlo to Feyenoord, especially as the Dutch side offer him the chance of playing in Europe. Westerlo will be keen to get a decent fee for Ferri as replacing him could prove to be difficult.

Feyenoord are also looking for a new head coach, having sacked Robin van Persie earlier this week.
