FIFA inspect Neo Química Arena for Women's World Cup 2027

Last Saturday, the 18th, FIFA representatives visited the Neo Química Arena for a technical visit that lasted throughout the day. The inspection is part of the preparation schedule for the 2027 Women's World Cup, for which the Corinthians stadium will be one of the eight official venues in Brazil.

During the visit, the teams from the world's top football entity, along with the Arena's operations team, observed details of the stadium's functioning on a game day. The analysis included structural, technological, and logistical aspects, focusing on ensuring that the venue meets all the standards required to host tournament matches.

The Central do Timão found that the entity's representatives widely praised the structure and operation of the Corinthians stadium. In an informal conversation, members of the delegation highlighted that the Neo Química Arena is considered, according to FIFA's own parameters, the stadium with the best operation in Brazil, including factors such as logistics, access, and surrounding infrastructure.

The group also acknowledged Corinthians' history of investments in South American women's football, which reinforces the club's image with the entity. Although there is still no decision on the venue for the tournament's final, the Neo Química Arena was mentioned as one of the possibilities, even though its current capacity is a factor in the evaluation.

The Neo Química Arena, which has already hosted matches for the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Olympics, is once again receiving international attention with the new global event. FIFA's presence reinforces the importance of the stadium as one of the country's main sports venues and a symbol of modernity and organization.

In the coming months, new technical visits are scheduled to continue the evaluations. The goal is to adjust operational details and ensure that the House of the People is fully ready to welcome fans and teams from around the world in 2027.
