Just weeks after the Ballon d'Or, it's now time for FIFA The Best 2025. These awards honor the standout performers of the season, and the nominees for player of the year have just been announced.

For the 2025 edition of FIFA The Best, several PSG players feature among the nominees for the coveted player of the year award. Ousmane Dembélé, who already clinched the 2025 Ballon d'Or, could be on course for a spectacular double. His teammates Achraf Hakimi, a standout on PSG’s right flank, and the equally impressive Nuno Mendes, are also in the running. Vitinha rounds out the Parisian contingent among the nominees.

FC Barcelona is represented by Lamine Yamal, runner-up for the Ballon d'Or. His club and national teammate Pedri is also a strong contender, as is Raphinha, another key contributor to Hansi Flick’s trophy-winning side. Kylian Mbappé, who continues to dazzle in Madrid with his staggering stats, also makes the shortlist. Harry Kane, lethal up front for Bayern Munich, is among the names as well. Finally, Cole Palmer (Chelsea) and Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) complete the lineup.
