Inter Milan starlet Francesco Pio Esposito delivered another impressive performance in last night’s 1-1 draw at Fiorentina.

According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the 20-year-old emerged as Inter’s standout performer at Stadio Artemio Franchi.

With Lautaro Martinez in the pits and Cristian Chivu suspended, it was never going to be an easy task for the Nerazzurri.

However, Francesco Pio Esposito inspired the Serie A leaders to a dream start.

Indeed, he headed home Nicolo Barella’s cross inside the opening minute to put the visitors 1-0 up.

Despite grabbing an early opener, Inter failed to take all three points, as Cher Ndour restored parity in the 77th minute.

In addition to breaking the deadlock with a superb glancing header, Esposito nearly snatched away a late win for Inter.

Unfortunately, Fiorentina goalkeeper David de Gea pulled off a stunning save to thwart the Italian striker’s half-volley.

Meanwhile, Esposito’s attacking partner, Marcus Thuram, failed to live up to expectations.

Indeed, the French superstar had another disappointing game, forcing Aleksandar Kolarov to take him off in the 68th minute.

Unfortunately, Ange-Yoan Bonny, who took Thuram’s place, struggled to make an impact off the bench.
