Flamengo confirm XI for Vitória tie as Bruno Henrique starts | OneFootball

Flamengo have confirmed their line-up to face Vitória at 21:30 Brasília time on Thursday for a place in the last 16 of the Copa do Brasil at Estádio Manoel Barradas, the Barradão.

According to Coluna Do Fla, Leonardo Jardim starts Agustín Rossi in goal, with Emerson Royal, Danilo, Léo Pereira and Alex Sandro in defence. Evertton Araújo, Jorginho and Jorge Carrascal are in midfield, with Luiz Araújo, Samuel Lino and Bruno Henrique in attack.

The bench features Andrew, Dyogo Alves, Varela, Vitão, Léo Ortiz, Ayrton Lucas, Saúl, De La Cruz, Everton Cebolinha, Pedro and Wallace Yan.

As in the first leg, Jardim has tweaked the side compared with recent league line-ups, so Emerson Royal and Danilo start in the cup team. Evertton Araújo and Jorginho also come in, as they are suspended for the Athletico-PR match on Sunday 17 in the Brasileirão.

Flamengo are without four players. Arrascaeta continues his recovery from a fractured collarbone and Gonzalo Plata has been rested due to knee pain. Erick Pulgar and Lucas Paquetá are in the final stages of physical transition and should return in the coming days.

Having won 2-1 at the Maracanã in the first leg, Flamengo can advance with a draw. The match will be broadcast on SporTV and via the Premiere pay-per-view service.
