Flamengo have begun reviewing the first half of 2026 and are weighing player sales in the next window, while accepting they may face hurdles to raising funds.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the club judge the squad to be high quality and remain open to exits in the mid-year market, with increasing cash flow treated internally as a priority.

Even so, offloading players is not straightforward. The squad is generally viewed as older for the market, which makes negotiations harder.

For now, Flamengo are working with the possibility of offers for players set to appear at the World Cup. Léo Pereira, Plata and Carrascal could be monitored by European clubs.

Younger members of the squad may also emerge as business opportunities for the Rubro-Negro.

While nine players are with their national teams at the World Cup, the rest of the group are on holiday. The squad will report back on 19 June at CT Ninho do Urubu.

Afterwards, the club will hold a mid-season camp in Portugal.
