Leonardo Jardim will be without four more players for Flamengo’s meeting with Coritiba on 30 May. According to Coluna Do Fla, Danilo, Léo Pereira, Alex Sandro and Lucas Paquetá have been called up by Carlo Ancelotti for the World Cup. The quartet will therefore miss the club’s final league game before the break.

The players are due to report to Brazil on 27 May at Granja Comary, Teresópolis. Brazil face Panama in a friendly at the Maracanã on 31 May.

Flamengo versus Coritiba is set for Saturday 30 May at 16:00 Brasília time at the Maracanã, in the 18th round of the Brasileirão. The result could determine whether the Rubro-Negro enter the FIFA window top of the table.

Flamengo could have further World Cup representatives. Arrascaeta, Varela and De La Cruz are on Uruguay’s preliminary list, Carrascal is available for Colombia and Gonzalo Plata is expected to receive an Ecuador call-up.

Before turning to Coritiba, Flamengo remain focused on their next fixture of 2026. On Wednesday 20, they face Estudiantes (ARG) at 21:30 Brasília time at the Maracanã in the fifth round of the Libertadores.
