Flamengo post record R$ 2.089 billion revenue and trim net operating debt to R$ 174 million

Flamengo posted record gross revenue of R$ 2.089 billion in 2025, cutting net operating debt to R$ 174 million. According to Globo.com, the club’s accounts credit exceptional sporting and commercial performance, record player sales and the consolidation of Maracanã operations.
Recurring revenue totalled R$ 1.571 billion, EBITDA reached R$ 616 million and the year closed with a R$ 336 million surplus. It was the first time total revenue had surpassed R$ 2 billion.
Gross revenue was R$ 1.4 billion in 2024 and R$ 1.5 billion in 2023, after R$ 1.3 billion in 2022, R$ 1.2 billion in 2021, R$ 1.0 billion in 2020 and R$ 1.3 billion in 2019.
Net operating debt was R$ 513 million in 2019, peaked at R$ 643 million in 2020, then fell to R$ 321 million in 2021 and R$ 250 million in 2022. It hit R$ 53 million in 2023, rose to R$ 344 million in 2024, and is lower again in 2025. All figures are IPCA-adjusted.
Player sales generated R$ 519 million in 2025, compared with R$ 113 million in 2024 and R$ 334 million in 2023, the highest nominal total in the club’s historical series.
Spending on signings reached R$ 636 million in 2025, up from R$ 435 million in 2024 and R$ 301 million in 2023. Purchases of federative rights included Samuel Lino for R$ 203 million, Carrascal R$ 107.3 million, Emerson Royal R$ 78.8 million, Juninho R$ 40 million and Plata R$ 39 million. Signing-on fees were paid to Michael R$ 28 million, Jorginho R$ 23.8 million, Pulgar R$ 19.3 million, Danilo R$ 16.8 million, Gerson R$ 15.7 million and Varela R$ 13 million.
