Flamengo set fresh West Ham meeting to push Lucas Paquetá deal

Flamengo have scheduled a new meeting with West Ham for Saturday 17 as they continue talks to sign Lucas Paquetá.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the clubs met on Friday 16 but discussions did not progress, so a follow-up meeting has been set to try to unblock the deal.

Flamengo are prepared to pay 40 million euros, with 35 million euros fixed and 5 million euros in bonuses based on targets, a package valued at R$ 252 million.

The report adds that Lucas Paquetá now prioritises a return to Flamengo, has agreed salary terms and will sign a four-year contract. The next step is securing West Ham’s approval.

Meanwhile, Flamengo turn to the pitch against Volta Redonda on Saturday 17 in the second round of the Campeonato Carioca. Kick-off is at 21:30 Brasília time at Estádio Raulino de Oliveira.
