Jonathan Bottinelli, 41, will serve as assistant alongside Guillermo Almada. The new staff also features Diego Arias as fitness coach, Juan Raña as goalkeeping coach and Vicente Barrios as video analyst.

Orfila is due to make his debut on Saturday, away to Melgar, in round nine of the Peruvian championship.

Flamengo visit Cusco on Wednesday for their Libertadores bow, with kick-off at 21:30 Brasília time. The tie will be played at more than 3,400 metres in Cusco, Peru. Darío Bottinelli, a former Flamengo player and Jonathan’s brother, has split loyalties.
