Flamengo ‘to prepare’ €10m bid for Coritiba forward Lucas Ronier | OneFootball

According to Rádio Joven Pan News, Flamengo are preparing a €10m proposal for Coritiba forward Lucas Ronier, with any move aimed for 2027 because he has already reached the league’s appearance limit and cannot play this season.

The 21-year-old, from Fazenda Rio Grande in Paraná, is left-footed and 1.65m tall. He prefers the right flank but can also operate as a No 9. He has three goals and four assists in 23 appearances this season.

Ronier came through Coritiba’s academy and has been in the first team since 2023. Last year he was a key figure in their promotion push, recording seven goals and two assists across 39 games.

He was not among the substitutes in the last round against Flamengo, a 3-0 win for the Rio side, as he was returning from a 15-day hamstring issue. Despite that, he is regarded as an undisputed starter at Coritiba.

Flamengo’s director of football José Boto and head coach Leonardo Jardim have been open about lowering the squad’s average age, and Ronier fits that brief. Any deal could be tricky, with Coritiba having recently rejected Asian offers worth R$ 66 million.
