Barcelona manager Hansi Flick did not hold back his emotions on the touchline during the pre-season win over Vissel Kobe.

The German tactician was seen animated throughout the match and expressed genuine satisfaction with his team’s performance, especially the young players stepping into the spotlight.

“It was a very good match. We were very good in the first 30 minutes, but in the last 15 minutes of the first half, we lost control. In the second half, we were very good again,” said Flick.

Flick made it clear that the club is heavily focused on integrating its youth players into the first team. “We have a lot of players from La Masia, Jofre and Dro did very well, and also in training,” he said.

He also explained that the coaching staff is trying to give equal opportunities to all players during the tour. “The objective is for everyone to play 45 minutes,” he noted, before adding,

“Rashford hasn’t played that much, and we also wanted to give Gerard Martin 15 minutes because he was playing after injury.”

Flick also addressed Roony Bardghji’s impressive outing, praising his display but making it clear that continued effort will decide his future in the first team next season. “It depends on him. When he plays well like today, you see it in training, like Joan Garcia, Rashford.

“He might have a week less training with the ball, but I’m happy with what I’m seeing. The youngsters have to improve.

“It is not easy for us this season, but like last season, we keep working hard to win titles. It’s not easy, but we want to keep going like this.”

The manager once again stressed the importance of young talent at the club. “I’m very happy to have all the young players, Dro, Jofre Torrents, Roony, also Toni and Guille, who I already knew from the previous tour.”

Flick’s words send a clear message that Barcelona’s future is in the hands of its youth, and those who rise to the occasion will be rewarded.
