Real Madrid are weighing a move for Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise that could reach 160 million euros, Bild reports. Florentino Pérez is said to admire the 24-year-old and a push could come at the end of the season.
Any bid of that size would eclipse the club's outlay on Eden Hazard, Jude Bellingham, Gareth Bale or Cristiano Ronaldo, making it the costliest signing of Pérez's tenure.
The deal would be complicated. Olise is under contract at Bayern until 2029 and there is no release clause, which leaves the German club in a strong position. Bayern are not planning to part with a player they regard as central to their project.
For Madrid, an investment close to 160 million euros would require prior squad adjustments to balance the books. Offloading major names would be far from straightforward.
Olise's form helps explain the interest. The French international has 15 goals and 27 assists in 38 competitive appearances this season, emerging as a constant threat down the flank and a reliable creator in decisive moments.
