Seko Fofana used social media on Sunday to urge positivity and unity after FC Porto’s 2-2 draw with Famalicão. The player said in a post that the team should keep their heads up, focus on the positives and move forward together.
The match at Dragão finished level on Saturday. Fofana had put Porto ahead in stoppage time, but Rodrigo Pinheiro struck at the death to deny the hosts victory.
The 30-year-old Ivory Coast international also wrote that the negatives had been left behind, ending his message with, "We are FC Porto." That post quickly drew a wave of responses.
Team-mate Rodrigo Mora hailed him as a monster and stressed being together. Terem Moffi echoed the call for togetherness.
Borja Sainz and Pablo Rosario reacted with a blue heart and other emojis, adding to the supportive thread around Fofana’s message.
