Carlo Ancelotti on what’s surprised him about Estevao

Estevao is regarded as the best player to emerge from Brazil since Neymar, and he’s already established himself as a fan favourite at Chelsea.

The level of talent he possesses is incredible, and Ancelotti has stated Chelsea are lucky to have Estevao, and you won’t find anyone who disagrees with that.

Ancelotti has worked with some of the best players to play the game, and after Brazil’s win he revealed what’s surprised him about Estevao.

“Vinicius Jr. can switch positions with Rodrygo; they are used to it. Estevao plays more openly on the right, he has incredible talent,” he told his post-match press conference.

“For me, it’s a surprise that someone so young has this kind of talent.

“He’s very accurate in his finishing, very forceful. With him, Brazil has a secure future.”

Chelsea’s Brazilian stars back in action on Tuesday

Estevao wasn’t the only Chelsea player to feature against Senegal, with Joao Pedro coming on as a second half substitute, whilst Andrey Santos was left on the bench.
