Nottingham Forest are monitoring Rangers teenager Calum Adamson, with the 18-year-old midfielder catching the eye after a breakthrough loan at Alloa Athletic. TEAMtalk reports Forest have been regularly scouting him.

Midfield is a summer priority, with Elliot Anderson in demand, and Vitor Pereira has said any key departures would require replacements.

Crystal Palace are also watching, with Middlesbrough, Bristol City and Portsmouth keen. TEAMtalk says he is into the final year of his deal, and Rangers are considering another loan, with St Mirren or Kilmarnock possible.

Forest have also been linked again with Inter Milan’s Davide Frattesi after a January move fell through. L’Interista reports a Premier League switch is a real possibility, with contact to assess feasibility potentially coming soon, while Roma are currently seen as the most likely option for now, with a decision expected in the coming weeks.

Former favourite Danilo could return to the Premier League this summer, a year after leaving for Botafogo. UOL says Manchester United have made an offer, with AC Milan, Atalanta and Zenit St Petersburg also bidding, and Palmeiras and Flamengo interested, while Botafogo are expected to wait until after the World Cup as he is in Brazil’s squad.

He is said to favour a European return after two-and-a-half years Trentside, having joined Forest from Palmeiras for about £16-18 million and later been sold for around £21m. Elsewhere, Sydney FC have confirmed ex-Red Joe Lolley will depart after four years, and he hopes to stay in Australia and prove himself again.
