As uncertainty continues to surround Robert Lewandowski’s future, speculation over his next destination is beginning to gather pace, and now a prominent voice from Italian football has weighed in.
The Barcelona forward is entering the final stretch of his current deal, with no definitive clarity yet on where he will be playing next season.
Despite approaching the latter stages of his career, Lewandowski remains a highly sought-after striker, attracting interest from multiple leagues across Europe and beyond.
While offers from emerging markets are expected, it is the continued attention from top European competitions that stands out.
Serie A, in particular, appears to be a realistic destination and former Italy international Christian Vieri believes he knows exactly where the Polish striker should go.
Sharing his view on Lewandowski’s next move, Vieri made a strong case for a switch to AC Milan, suggesting it would be the ideal fit at this stage of his career.

“In my view, Juve will sign the striker for next season, but I think Lewandowski would be better off at Milan,” he said on DAZN, as reported by Mundo Deportivo.
Interestingly, while discussing attacking options in Serie A, Vieri also turned his attention to Juventus and their current situation.
When asked which striker could elevate their system, he did not immediately name Lewandowski, instead pointing towards a different profile.
“I would be delighted to see Kolo Muani return, because if you have Dusan Vlahovic at the club, you have to try to renew his contract anyway, as there is no one like him,” analysed the former Italian international.
Back at Barcelona, the situation remains delicately balanced.
Lewandowski continues to contribute on the pitch, helping the team through the closing stages of the campaign, but his long-term role is still under discussion.
