France take on Norway in their final group-stage clash on Friday at Boston Stadium, with both sides aiming to finish at the top of the group.
France is in scintillating form heading into this group finale, comfortably securing their knockout spot with consecutive victories. Les Bleus opened Group I with an impressive 3-1 win against Senegal and followed it up with a commanding 3-0 triumph over Iraq. France only needs a single draw against Norway to officially secure the top position.
Les Bleus have combined strong defensive organisation with the attacking quality of Kylian Mbappé, and they remain focused on finishing top of the group.
There are notable changes for France as well, beginning on the sidelines. Assistant coach Guy Stéphan will take charge of this match after Didier Deschamps returned to France following the passing of his mother.
On the field, France is expected to make several adjustments, with up to five changes planned to manage player fitness.
William Saliba will be rested due to an ongoing back issue, allowing Maxence Lacroix to start in central defence.
At right-back, Malo Gusto is likely to replace Jules Koundé, while Théo Hernandez is expected to come back into the team at left-back in place of Lucas Digne.
In midfield, Aurélien Tchouaméni is set to return and provide stability, while the attack could still include Kylian Mbappé despite the rotation.
Possible France starting XI: Maignan; Kounde, Upamecano, Saliba; Hernandez; Tchouameni, Rabiot; Olise, Chherki, Doue; Mbappe
The match will kick off at 8pm BST on Friday, 26th June.
For fans in the UK, the match between Norway and France will be available to watch live for free on ITV1.
