France will face England in the World Cup third-place play-off in Miami on Saturday at 23:00, after England were beaten 2-1 by Argentina on Wednesday.
L'Équipe notes that France now know their opponents for the third-place play-off. France lost 2-0 to Spain 24 hours earlier in their semi-final.

The other semi-final was staged in Atlanta. Anthony Gordon put England ahead on 55 minutes.
Enzo Fernandez levelled on 85 minutes, then Lautaro Martinez struck at 90+4 to complete the turnaround.
It will be the nations' first meeting since the 2022 World Cup quarter-final in Qatar, which France won 2-1 thanks to a late Olivier Giroud header.
