From England: Roma to try second bid for Sancho

Roma isn’t giving up on Jadon Sancho.

According to English news portal The i Paper, the Giallorossi haven’t given up after the player’s initial refusal and are planning a new bid before the transfer window closes.

The initial offer, around £20 million, was accepted by Manchester United, but Sancho himself declined, hoping to explore other options.

However, these alternatives didn’t materialize, and now Roma is back in the thick of things, aware that they are perhaps the only real hope for the player and for United, who are eager to sell him.

The English winger risks remaining in out of United’s squad for the duration of the season.

Therefore, Roma’s new offer will need to be more attractive to convince the player.

Should the deal fail to materialize, Roma has already identified young Chelsea winger Tyrique George as an alternative.
