According to NY Times, Fulham have agreed a £27 million ($37.1m) deal with Manchester City to sign Oscar Bobb, including a 20 per cent sell-on and City’s right to match future bids.

The 22-year-old is due for a medical on Thursday before completing his move to Craven Cottage. He is currently sidelined with a hamstring issue, which Pep Guardiola said came in the 2-0 Carabao Cup quarter-final at Brentford on December 17.

Bobb has made 15 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring once in the Premier League. He missed most of last season with a broken leg suffered in training.

After the arrival of Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth earlier this month, and the return of Omar Marmoush from the Africa Cup of Nations, Bobb slipped further down City’s attacking order. Rayan Cherki, Jeremy Doku and Savinho have also featured wide this season.

If the move is completed, he will compete with Harry Wilson, Kevin and Samuel Chukwueze for minutes in west London. Fulham confirmed Adama Traore’s departure on Wednesday, with the 30-year-old joining West Ham United.

Since returning to fitness, he has made eight appearances for Norway, helping them reach their first World Cup in 27 years. He joined City’s academy in 2019 from Valerenga after training with Porto as a 15-year-old without registering.
