Fulham are in talks with Manchester City over a possible move for winger Oscar Bobb (22) according to reports from BBC Sport.
The 22-year-old has slipped down the pecking order under Pep Guardiola following City’s £62.5m signing of forward Antoine Semenyo earlier this month.
Although discussions are believed to have taken place between the clubs, Fulham are yet to make a formal offer.
Bobb has made 15 appearances for City this season without scoring and has struggled for consistent minutes. He last played on 17 December in the Carabao Cup against Brentford, but was forced off inside the opening 20 minutes after picking up an injury.
Asked about Bobb’s fitness ahead of City’s Champions League match against Bodo/Glimt, Guardiola said: “He says he is not fit, so he is not fit.”
Semenyo’s arrival has increased competition on the right wing, where Brazilian Savinho is also an option, and Bobb could be allowed to leave this month either on loan or on a permanent basis. Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund have also shown interest.
Fulham have lost just one of their past seven matches under Marco Silva and are 11th in the Premier League, as well as through to the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Bobb has six caps for Norway this year and helped his country qualify for this summer’s World Cup. He would link up with international team-mate Sander Berge if the move goes through.
