Fulham’s Issa Diop set for Ipswich Town move

Fulham defender Issa Diop (29) is set to join Ipswich Town, according to a report from French media Foot Mercato.

The publication understands that a deal between Fulham and Ipswich Town was agreed on Monday. The deal, the publication adds, will be worth around €10m. Diop, a former France youth international who recently participated in the FIFA World Cup with the Morocco national team, joined Fulham back in 2022 and, over the course of the past four years, has gone on to make 96 appearances. 13 of those appearances came in the Premier League last season.

The Morocco international had just one year remaining on his deal at Craven Cottage and he is now set for a move. Diop is set to sign a four-year deal with Ipswich Town, who return to the Premier League next season. The centre-back is now set for a medical ahead of a move to Portman Road.
