Arsenal will entertain Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium this Tuesday night as they look to secure all three points at home in the Premier League. The Gunners managed to secure a hard-fought 2-1 win over Brighton and Hove Albion recently, which should give them a ton of confidence going into this game.

Mikel Arteta will set his players up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make some changes to his starting XI for this clash. Gabriel and Eberechi Eze could both play from the start of this contest, while Mikel Merino and Piero Hincapie make way for them and drop to the bench. Aston Villa are on an amazing run of form right now, so this is going to be anything but easy.

Defence

David Raya will feature in goal for the North London club as expected. His match defining save last game would definitely give confidence to the whole backline going into this high intensity clash Vs Villa.  Gabriel will get the nod to operate alongside William Saliba at the centre of the Arsenal backline as they look to keep a solid shape at the back throughout the game.

Declan Rice will hope to impress as the right-back, while Myles Lewis-Skelly looks to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Piero Hincapie will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Arteta could name a midfield three of Martin Odegaard, Martin Zubimendi and Eberechi Eze as they look to establish their superiority over the opposition at the centre of the park. All three of them need to combine well if they are to create some inviting chances for their teammates in the final third.

Christian Norgaard and Mikel Merino will have to be content with a spot on the bench as they wait for their chance to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Leandro Trossard will try to impress as the left-winger, while Bukayo Saka looks to put his pace to good use on the right flank.

Viktor Gyokeres will lead the line for the North London club up top. He has to figure out a way to be a constant menace up top.

Gabriel Jesus will have to settle for a spot on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the latter stages if required.
