Galatasaray dismiss Jamal Musiala transfer links in official statement

Galatasaray have dismissed speculation linking Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala with a move to the club.

Reports in Türkiye earlier this month suggested a surprise switch, and those claims were quickly played down in Germany.

The club said in a statement that no agreement had been reached with Musiala or Bayern Munich, adding that it wished to make this clear to the public.

After Germany’s disappointing World Cup exit, Musiala underwent a procedure to have a plate removed from his foot, which had been inserted during surgery following a serious injury last year.

Now recovering, the 23-year-old is hoping to be back in time for Bayern’s first competitive match of the new season, the DFL-Supercup against Borussia Dortmund at Signal Iduna Park on 22 August.
