Galatasaray have made Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes their headline summer target as part of an ambitious Champions League push, according to Turkish-Football.com.

President Dursun Özbek’s plan involves a wide-ranging reset of squad and management, with Fernandes viewed as the elite No 10 to lift the club’s profile. The Yellow-Reds are assembling a package to lure the Portugal playmaker to Türkiye, with salaries up to €15 million per year under consideration.

Galatasaray are monitoring structural changes at Old Trafford, while Fernandes remains a talismanic figure for United. He has eight goals and 18 assists in the Premier League this season, and would be offered a leading role in a historic Champions League campaign, potentially alongside Victor Osimhen and Leroy Sané.

A proposal worth about €60 million is being lined up to secure the midfielder. If completed, it would represent the second-highest transfer fee in Turkish football, behind Galatasaray’s own deal for Victor Osimhen.

With a presidential election looming, the pursuit doubles as Özbek’s pitch to voters about the scale of his project.
