Süper Lig champions Galatasaray are pushing ahead with negotiations with Eintracht Frankfurt over Turkish international Can Uzun, as Okan Buruk targets fresh attacking options.

Fotomaç reports that personal terms have been agreed in principle, a four plus one-year deal, and the player's family favour a move to Rams Park.

Reaching agreement on the fee with Frankfurt remains the main obstacle.

Galatasaray's latest proposal is €35 million guaranteed plus €five million in bonuses, and a 20% sell-on clause. Frankfurt initially valued the 20-year-old above €40 million, closer to a €45 million estimate, and have been reluctant to reduce their demands.

Club executives are taking a patient stance and are confident continued dialogue will bridge the gap.

Uzun can play as an attacking midfielder, winger or second striker, and impressed against Galatasaray in Europe last season. He recorded 10 goals and five assists in the 2025-26 campaign. Strengthening depth for domestic and European competition remains a priority this window.
