Galatasaray are plotting a bid worth up to €35m for Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes as they plan for next season, after sealing a fourth consecutive Trendyol Süper Lig title and a record 26th crown.

Fanatik reports that the Istanbul club have revived their pursuit and are assembling a package comprising a €30-35m fee and personal terms at around €10m net per year for the 31-year-old.

Manager Okan Buruk has reportedly prioritised a marquee midfield signing for their next UEFA Champions League campaign, and club officials intend to formalise an offer after the conclusion of the FIFA World Cup.

Significant hurdles remain. Fernandes is reportedly reluctant to leave Old Trafford and, as club captain, wants to lead United into their next Champions League campaign under the current structure.

His stance was underlined earlier this year when he knocked back highly lucrative approaches from the Saudi Pro League in the winter window and again in the current summer period.

United hold a firm position, with the playmaker under contract until 2028, and there has been no indication that the club are willing to sell.
