Eintracht Frankfurt forward Can Uzun is drawing strong interest at home and abroad. Bild claims Galatasaray are leading the chase and have intensified their push for the highly rated youngster.
Several clubs from Italy and England remain in contention, including AC Milan and SSC Napoli, while Premier League sides have made initial checks.
Galatasaray had tracked the former Nuremberg prospect before his switch to Frankfurt, maintaining regular contact, and now regard him as a priority target. The Süper Lig foreign-player cap, tightened last season to 14 non-Turkish squad members, adds value to leading domestic talents.
No bids have been lodged for Uzun so far, and no deal is expected imminently. There are no concrete offers on Frankfurt’s table, and the player is keeping his plans private, with those close to him stressing that only the World Cup matters for now. Any decision is therefore likely to wait until after the tournament.
The 20-year-old burst out of the blocks with five goals and three assists in his first five Bundesliga games, then suffered a muscle injury in November and a thigh problem in January that sidelined him for weeks.
He returned against 1. FSV Mainz 05 at the end of March and now has 10 goals and six assists in 28 appearances across all competitions. Uzun recently scored his first goal for Türkiye in a 4-0 friendly win over North Macedonia.
