Galatasaray ‘to move for’ Bernardo Silva, Benfica return in doubt

Benfica’s hopes of bringing Bernardo Silva back may be under threat amid fresh interest from Galatasaray.

Fanatik reports that the Istanbul club want to land the Portugal international, a development that could complicate Benfica’s plan for a return in the near future.

The Türkiye giants tried last summer but failed to strike a deal. They have kept him on their list and are preparing a fresh attempt to tempt him to the local league.

He has previously expressed a desire to return to Benfica. His Manchester City contract ends at the end of this season, leaving him free to decide his future.

This season he has played 26 games for Manchester City, 20 in the Premier League, five in the Champions League and one in the League Cup. Across 1808 minutes he has one goal and two assists, and is valued at €27 million.
