Wolves midfielder Mario Lemina (31) will be allowed to secure a deadline day loan move to Galatasaray once Wolverhampton sign Marshall Munetsi (28) from Ligue 1 outfit Reims, according to L’Equipe. Wolves are thought to have reached a €20m agreement with Reims for the Zimbabwean international as they look to bolster their options ahead of the final stretch of the season. The club are fighting a relegation battle and sit only two points above the drop.
Should Wolves manage to sign Munetsi on time, they will reportedly allow the Gabonese international midfielder to leave on loan to Galatasaray. Lemina was a regular starter under the tutelage of then-Wolves head coach Gary O’Neil, but he has sat out Wolves’ last four Premier League games with Vitor Pereira in the dugout. Mario Lemina is no stranger to Galatasaray. The former Marseille and Lorient midfielder spent the 2019-2020 season on loan with the Istanbul-based team.
