Galatasaray host Alanyaspor in the Süper Lig on Saturday, 28 February 2026 in İstanbul, with the leaders looking to consolidate top spot and the 10th placed visitors seeking a result to steady a mid table campaign.
Galatasaray won the reverse fixture 1-0 in September and Aslan are unbeaten at home in the league. Alanyaspor have shown resilience on the road, drawing at Beşiktaş this month.
Aslan's league form was strong with four straight wins before defeat at Konyaspor last weekend. Alanyaspor beat Konyaspor, drew at Beşiktaş and then lost narrowly to Başakşehir, reflecting their draw-heavy season.
Aslan are without suspended defender Metehan Baltacı. Alanyaspor miss midfielders Maestro and Buluthan Bulut through injury, while Yusuf Ozdemir is suspended, trimming options in the centre of the pitch.
Expect Aslan to dominate the ball. They average 62% possession with 87.89% pass accuracy, 55 goals and nine clean sheets, and supply the box via 368 open play crosses at 29.89% accuracy. Mauro Icardi (13 league goals) and Victor Osimhen (nine) are major threats, with Baris Yilmaz leading the league with nine assists. Alanyaspor average 48% possession, have scored 25 and conceded 27. Guven Yalcin (six league goals) and creator Hwang Ui-jo (five assists) offer the out-ball, while Florent Hadergjonaj adds delivery from full back. The visitors may look to contain and counter.
A win would move Aslan to 58 points and could tighten their grip on the summit. Victory would take Alanyaspor to 29 points and could nudge them towards the top half, while another draw would continue their season long habit of sharing the points.
