City secure FA Cup progression with strong win at Bournemouth

Andrée Jeglertz’s side booked our place in the next stage of the historic thanks to the clinical performance as we extended our unbeaten run in all competitions to 16 straight matches.

Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw opened the scoring on the 19th minute before the Blues netted three times in the final five of the first half to extend our lead.

Lauren Hemp bagged our second with a drilled effort ahead of Laura Coombs’ brace which saw her round off a great team move before tapping home a Shaw cross.

Second-half substitute Vivianne Miedema then scored twice to round off the scoring which helped book our place in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
