Benjamín Garré is expected to be moved on by Vasco in the next transfer window after a subdued season, according to Globo.com.

The Argentine joined from Krylya Sovetov in Russia at the start of 2025 in a deal worth nearly R$ 15 million, arriving to be a starter and add creativity to the attack.

He did not nail down a place under Carille and Diniz. Nuno Moreira, Rayan and Andrés Gómez became regulars, with the Portuguese and the Colombian adapting faster to Brazilian football.

Given his low output and adaptation issues, the board are studying proposals to offload him. A departure could ease the wage bill and free a squad slot as Vasco look to strengthen the forward line.

The club are targeting a winger and an attacking midfielder to boost creation, roles Garré could theoretically cover. He has played 21 matches, registered one assist and scored no goals.
