Glasgow City edged Celtic 3-2 in the Scottish Gas Women’s Cup 4th Round, SWPL 2 side Boroughmuir Thistle won away to top-flight Dundee United.

Lucy Ashworth-Clifford struck first for Celtic from distance, Brenna Lovera quickly equalising from the spot.
The visitors led for a second time when a Morgan Cross delivery was turned into her own net by Claire Walsh, back came City again with Sam van Diemen heading home a Hayley Lauder cross.
Lovera doubled her tally for the day to give City the lead for the first time, which they were able to hold onto.
Boroughmuir Thistle caused an upset at Dundee United, Becky Galbraith with a brace and Cara Borthwick with their other before a consolation for the hosts.
Lower league Elgin City were level at half time away to SWPL 2 side St Johnstone but eventually bowed out 4-2.
Aberdeen struck three times in the last dozen minutes to eliminate SWPL 2 leaders Hamilton Academical, Kerry Beattie, Francesca Ogilvie and Eva Thomson with the goals.
Spartans hit Kilmarnock for six with two each from Mya Bates and Aimee Anderson, Motherwell did likewise against Bonnyrigg Rose with a hat-trick by Amy Sharkey.
Rangers’ Mia McAulay and Kirsty Howat contributed a couple each to the seven against Montrose, Hearts netted nine at Falkirk where Bayley Hutchison and Sade Adamolekun each scored twice.
