Goalkeeper released by Corinthians joins Rio club

On the afternoon of this Friday (23), goalkeeper Kemelli, who was under contract with Corinthians from 2021 to 2025 and did not have her contract renewed with the club at the end of last year, was announced as a new signing for Fluminense. The 26-year-old goalkeeper, who was a reserve at Alvinegro, signed with the Rio de Janeiro team until December 2027.

Kemelli confirmed her departure from Corinthians after the end of the season, still during the match against Palmeiras, in the second leg of the Campeonato Paulista 2025 final, in which the Brabas ended up as runners-up – losing 5 x 1 on aggregate. The athlete, born in Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro, was originally discovered at Fluminense and later continued her career at Fluminense.

Wearing the Corinthians jersey, she played 57 matches (56 as a starter), achieving 49 wins, five draws, and three losses – an 88.8% success rate. Additionally, she won eight titles: Women's Super Cup (2022 and 2024), Women's Brasileirão (2021 and 2024), Campeonato Paulista (2021 and 2023), and Conembol Libertadores Feminina (2021 and 2025).

Besides Kemelli, others who left Corinthians at the end of 2025 include defender Mariza (Tigres-MEX), right-backs Letícia Santos (Santos FC) and Paulinha (still without a club), as well as forward Eudimilla (Santos FC). On the other hand, new signings include defender Agustina (Flamengo), midfielders Paola García (Deportivo Cali-COL) and Ana Vitória (Atlético de Madrid-ESP), Rhaizza (Bahia), and Belén Aquino (Internacional).
