Gonçalo Ramos is set to join AC Milan. It would be Paris Saint-Germain’s first major sale of the summer window.
According to L'Équipe, the clubs reached agreement on Friday at around €60m, with final details still to settle. The Portugal striker, on World Cup duty, is expected to commit to the Serie A club once those are resolved.
Ramos joined PSG in summer 2023 from Benfica on loan with an obligation to buy later triggered for €65m. He never nailed down a regular place under Luis Enrique, who regularly admitted he merited more minutes.
Despite a respectable return of 12 goals in all competitions last season, the 25-year-old was largely used as an impact substitute. He started only 13 Ligue 1 matches and was never in the Champions League XI, though he scored twice in the competition.
Milan will not play in next season’s Champions League and made Ramos their leading attacking target. They outlined a project with a central role for him, a key draw for a player keen to start regularly.
The move points to a livelier summer of exits in Paris than last year. Lee Kang-in, 25 and under contract to 2028, is among potential departures, with Atlético Madrid monitoring him. The South Korea international has 50 caps and 10 goals.
PSG are also pushing on with incomings. Two to three signings remain on their list regardless of sales, and further additions could follow to cover any departures before the window closes.
