Anthony Gordon has been left out of the Newcastle United squad for Saturday’s clash with Bournemouth, but Bruno Guimaraes has returned from injury to take a place on the bench.
Eddie Howe has made three changes for the visit of the Cherries to St. James’ Park as they look to snap a three-match losing streak.
Jacob Ramsey, Anthony Elanga and Harvey Barnes all come back into the side following last week’s 2-1 defeat against Crystal Palace.
Gordon is sidelined with a minor hip flexor issue while Joelinton is suspended. Bruno has been named among the substitutes after recovering from a hamstring injury that kept him out for over two months.
William Osula once again starts over Nick Woltemade and Yoane Wissa after scoring against Palace last weekend.
Meanwhile, Andoni Iraola has named an unchanged lineup from the one that pulled off a shock away win over Premier League leaders Arsenal last time out.
Newcastle starting XI: Ramsdale, Livramento, Thiaw, Botman, Hall, Miley, Tonali, Ramsey, Elanga, Osula, Barnes
Subs: Pope, Trippier, Wissa, J.Murphy, Woltemade, Willock, Burn, A.Murphy, Guimaraes
Bournemouth starting XI: Petrovic, Jimenez, Hill, Senesi, Truffert, Scott, Christie, Rayan, Kroupi, Tavernier, Evanilson
Subs: Mandas, Brooks, Adams, Adli, Smith, Unal, Gannon-Doak, Diakite, Toth
