Former Liverpool left-back Gregory Vignal is reportedly of interest for EFL Championship side Queens Park Rangers to replace Spanish head coach Marti Cifuentes, according to a report this Tuesday from L’Equipe. The Hoops are currently bottom of the EFL Championship after racking up only one win in 15 games. QPR lost 2-0 at Leeds’ Elland Road this Saturday. The outlet understands that Vignal has been seen at Loftus Road – during QPR’s goalless home draw against Sunderland – exchanging with members of the board.

L’Equipe understands that Vignal was previously touted with a role in Regis Le Bris’ backroom staff with the Black Cats. The former Rangers left-back is currently a free agent after leaving third-tier side Versailles FC after only ten games as their head coach.
