Grêmio have set their stance on a sale for André Henrique as they reshape Luis Castro’s squad, with interest emerging from Gotzepe of Türkiye.

ESPN Brasil reports that the club would only consider selling for five million euros, around R$31.3m at current rates. Grêmio hold 60% of the striker’s economic rights.

Inside the club, he is viewed as useful to Castro’s group, so there is no need for an immediate exit. His contract now runs until December 2028.

With Braithwaite injured and not expected back until April or May, André Henrique has become the direct understudy to Carlos Vinicius, underlining his importance early in the season.

He arrived in 2023 on loan. In early 2024, Grêmio paid 1.2 million euros, about R$6.4m, for 40% of his rights, then triggered a clause to increase their share.
