Grêmio youth champion Rafinha returns to Tombense for 2026

Rafinha has rejoined Tombense for the 2026 season. The club said in a post that his return had been confirmed on their social media channels.

It is the forward’s second spell with the Alvirrubro. He featured for Tombense in 2023 in Série B of the Campeonato Brasileiro, spent 2024 on loan at Ceará, then was loaned to CRB in 2025.

Born in São José do Rio Preto, the 23-year-old began at América-SP before moving to Grêmio at 19. There he played for the under-19 and under-20 teams and won the Brasileiro de Aspirantes.

Before his first stint with Tombense, he impressed with Capivariano in the Série A3 of the Paulistão.

Tombense open their Campeonato Mineiro campaign against Uberlândia on 10 January at 17:00 at Parque do Sabiá. They will also compete in the Copa do Brasil and the Série D of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
