Gustavo Henrique reached 10 goal involvements for Corinthians after assisting Gabriel Paulista to open the scoring against Flamengo in the Supercopa do Brasil. According to Meu Timao, more than half of those contributions altered the course of matches.

The centre-back has seven goals and three assists. Six of the 10 changed the game state, five were openers and one was an equaliser. The remaining four left the situation unchanged, with Corinthians still ahead three times and behind once.

Signed in 2024, his first contribution came with an assist for Wesley in a 3-0 Copa do Brasil win over Cianorte. He added two goals later that year. There were five further involvements in 2025, and he already has two in 2026, which could become his most productive season.

Those seven goals put him second among Corinthians centre-backs this decade, level with Gil. Cacá leads the list with eight.

After low-key spells at Valladolid in Spain and Fenerbahçe in Türkiye, Gustavo Henrique has become a leader and a scoring threat for Corinthians. He has made 80 appearances, 76 as a starter, and lifted the Paulista and Copa do Brasil in 2025, plus the Supercopa in 2026. His contract runs until 31 December 2027.
