Catalan giants Barcelona secured their first La Liga victory of the season at Real Mallorca, 3-0. The match was exciting and saw plenty of action, including two red cards for Mallorca players in the first half.
In this context, since Barcelona played half the match with two players, the outspoken German coach came out after the match to point out this point in his usual objective manner when discussing his team.
Speaking about the numerical scissors he suffered against rivals Real Mallorca, the German said: "I didn’t like the match. These are three important points, but after going 2-0 up, and with the two red cards, I think my team played at 50%.
That can’t happen. I need to talk to the players about this. You can’t play at 50% against nine players, that’s not what I expect".
The next two rounds will also be very difficult for Barcelona, as they will play two away matches in difficult stadiums against Levante and Rayo Vallecano before the end of the current month.
