Hansi Flick speaks out on futures of two transfer-linked Barcelona stars | OneFootball

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has on Friday provided updates on the futures of a pair of transfer-linked members of his midfield ranks.

The pair in question? Marc Casadó, and Fermín López.

Barcelona, it is understood, are on the lookout for one big-money sale before the summer is out.

Amid constant efforts to balance the books in Catalunya’s capital, Deco and co. have been consistently tipped to sanction a potentially painful sale.

And with as much in mind, the names of Casadó and Fermín have come very much to the fore.

Both youngsters – held in high regard across Spain and beyond – boast a whole host of admirers, several of whom would seemingly be willing to splash out on their signatures before the close of the transfer window.

Speaking to the media in his latest pre-match press conference on Friday, it therefore came as little surprise when the names of both players were put to the aforementioned Hansi Flick.

And Barca’s headmaster went on to provide the following updates:

“I spoke with Casadó, and I don’t see him wanting to leave the team, nor do I think I want that either. The season is long, and we want to achieve everything.”

“Fermín? As I said, I don’t want to lose any player, as the season is long. Fermín performed well last season, and I’m happy with him and all the players. I want to keep everyone, because these are the options we have available right now.”
