Left out of England’s squad by Thomas Tuchel, Harry Maguire has still found a way to enjoy the World Cup, selling Panini stickers on the streets of New York.

ESPN reports that the Manchester United defender, the former Three Lions captain with 66 caps and seven goals, has been working from a yellow Panini-branded van, cap on, serving supporters.

Passers-by recognised him and stopped for photos, and video of him handing out stickers has already drawn millions of views on social media.

In an Instagram story, he said it was a pleasure to meet fans from around the world.

He had previously said he was shocked and devastated to miss the tournament. He rounded off his day with Manchester United supporters at a New York pub, taking questions in a Q&A session.
