Tottenham Hotspur suffered their third defeat in a week on Saturday, losing 2-1 at home to Fulham in the Premier League.
Kenny Tete put Fulham ahead inside four minutes with the aid of a deflection from Destiny Udogie.
Harry Wilson doubled the away side’s advantage with an outstanding effort, capitalising on Guglielmo Vicario’s mistake to score from 25 yards.
This was the first time Tottenham have ever conceded two goals inside the first six minutes in the Premier League.
Samuel Chukwueze almost added to Fulham’s advantage, rattling the woodwork with a curled effort.
Spurs had Micky van de Ven to thank after he produced a brilliant sliding tackle to prevent Chukwueze, who was on the verge of scoring after rounding Vicario.
Despite Tottenham’s attempt to put pressure on the visitors late in the first half, they failed to pose any threat to goalkeeper Bernd Leno, heading into the break without any shots on target.
Spurs finally created their first real chance when Pedro Porro whipped a cross inside the area, but Randal Kolo Muani headed wide.
Mohammed Kudus halved the deficit for Tottenham, thumping home after receiving a pass from Lucas Bergvall to net his second goal for the club.
The hosts nearly completed the comeback when Bergvall headed towards the back post, but Raul Jimenez headed the ball away on the goalline.
Kolo Muani missed another chance to rescue a point for Thomas Frank’s side, flicking the ball wide with a backheel.
Fulham’s victory was their first at Tottenham since 2013. They are now six points clear of the relegation zone.
