Taylor Harwood-Bellis could depart Southampton before 2026/27, with Premier League suitors and Coventry City among those tracking him. According to Sainstmarching.com, choosing Coventry would put him under Frank Lampard despite a recent flashpoint.

The Saints may also be without Leo Scienza and Shea Charles, who are being linked with Premier League moves from Leeds United to Everton.

Harwood-Bellis, the captain with 132 appearances, is surely eager for a Premier League return. He is on the radar of several top-flight clubs and an ambitious Championship side. Hull City and Coventry City are also keen, while West Ham United remain interested despite relegation.

The one-time England international delivered an excellent season for Tonda Eckert’s team, even if it ended in the disaster of Spygate. He scored seven, averaged 5.7 duels won per second-tier game, and helped keep 12 clean sheets.

If he were to pick Coventry over the play-off final winners, he would have to park past grievances with Lampard. Southampton did not lose to the eventual champions last season.

A 2-1 away win at the CBS Arena featured a rare Flynn Downes goal. The 1-1 draw at St. Mary’s sparked a post-match melee after Lampard came onto the pitch and gestured at the home crowd. He had seen red, and his team played with ten men for all of the second half.

On the St. Mary’s turf, Harwood-Bellis told Lampard he was "better than that", and Lampard replied he should "show some respect". Both clubs were later fined significant sums.
